Misty Melange is an all-natural skincare brand that focuses on natural, plant-based remedies over manufactured chemicals that do more harm than good. Owner Misty Lucero wanted a website with a clean, feminine design with a natural aesthetic. She also needed a blog she could update easily without having to know any code. I built Misty's website on the Joomla CMS platform with advanced K2 blogging functionality to give her a beautiful online presence she can use to start promoting her brand and product as it comes to fruition. In addition to promoting her brand, Misty also uses the blog to share her knowledge of healthy living. I am currently working with Misty on the rest of her branding, including bottle labeling and business card design.

I have been working with Equip 2 Conceal and managing their brand's visual identity since the company was first started. In order to keep their online presence fresh and well-ahead of their competition, their latest website revision had to be the absolute best in the industry. I gave them just that.
The current Equip 2 Conceal website, new as of summer 2011, features eye-catching styling appropriate to the firearms training industry, in addition to a user-friendly interface that caters specifically to their target audience. Being a nationwide company, Equip 2 Conceal also needed advanced user account control to maintain a variety of administrator accounts with different levels of backend access. The website is built on the Joomla CMS platform, allowing Equip 2 Conceal administrators to easily update website content without having to know any kind of code. I also provided them with advanced search engine optimization to give them yet another advantage over their competition.
There are many firearm safety training businesses around, but Equip 2 Conceal stands out with a website that is miles ahead of their competition, in addition to end-to-end branding that gives them a more polished and professional image in an industry full of sloppy amateurs.

The Blendd is an online magazine focused on food and entertainment in Denver. The original website needed an updated design to give it a more modern look with improved user-friendliness, without sacrificing the original branding. Because it is a magazine/blog with dynamic content, a CMS with advanced content publishing capabilities was required. I built the new website on the Joomla CMS platform, and added powerful K2 blogging functionality with Facebook integration and advanced user account control to manage multiple authors with a variety of backend access levels. The resulting website is one with a sleek design that puts competitor websites like Metromix to shame with ease of use and readability, in addition to clean styling.

William Mitchell is an attorney who wanted his website to set him apart from other attorneys, as law firms often have bland if not unattractive websites. Working with a small design budget, as small businesses often do, William wanted to work with me because he had noted my versatility and attention to detail. I provided William with a classy and elegant website design that invokes a sense of professionalism in the viewer, letting potential clients know they can trust him to deliver quality service.

This website serves as my photography portfolio. Already having a considerable body of work in photography, I recently started working on my fine art brand identity. After going through many revisions, I finally landed on something I loved and opted to use my middle name professionally for branding purposes. The final website that resulted from my efforts is a clean showcase of my work, featuring an elastic layout that fits to any browser window and utilizes minimalism in order to keep the user's focus on my photos and not the layout design.
You're already at this site! Juicyart was once an overall creative portfolio, showcasing everything from my paintings to my designs and photos. The site is now undergoing some changes as I dedicate it exclusively to my design work and blog, with my fine art being moved to a separate website.
